Why is toggle sprint allowed, I mean dosen't have less KB for who ever has it? Plus with the easier double tap button its easier for w tapping which leads to less KB. Without an extra finger its easier to hotkey more. Please prove me wrong ;-;Last edited on 02 January 2016 - 09:33 PM by Cavasi
No. It just utilizes a feature in VANILLA minecraft that is already there.Last edited on 02 January 2016 - 09:37 PM by Nicosby
Yep, I agree with you. It actually gives you a big advantage, and I honestly don't know why it is allowed.I tried it in season 10 (I honestly thought it wasn't such a big advantage, and wanted to see if it actually was or not) and it really, really helped me a lot. You can do a lot of stuff since you don't need to constantly press "ctrl" or whatever your sprint key is set to.

Thers's no Sprint-toggle in Vanilla. In vanilla, you actually need to press ctrl to start sprinting again after you either ran into an obstacle or stopped sprinting.
With this mod, all you need to do is press W.

There is no difference between vanilla mc sprint and this sprint.

Seriously?
Vanilla scenario:
Press ctlr.
Press W. (Keep pressing ctrl or not, doesn't matter)
Profit.
Stop sprinting, stop pressing ctrl if you were.
Press W -> you'll start walking, not sprinting.
Toggle sneak/sprint scenario:
Press toggle key ONCE.
Press W.
Profit.
Stop sprinting.
Press W -> you'll start sprinting.
That isn't really the same thing :/.
Am I missing something?

The sprint itself doesn't give an advantage

I never said it did give you an advantage (like less kb etc). I was just trying to say you don't really have to bother pressing the VANILLA sprint key with this mod, which means, for example, you can hotkey way quicker and have a less stressful time while pvping (constantly pressing ctrl is kinda annoying sometimes)

Lol I have togglesneak but I have togglesprint disabled since I'm too used to not pressing sprint key and it will mess up my sprint if I keep tapping the sprint key like normal if togglesprint is enabled.Posted on 03 January 2016 - 06:02 AM

It literally makes no difference in hot keying lol, saying this as a soup pvper since 2011.

It's not just the hotkeying, I found it easier to pvp while using this mod in general. It was way more comfortable for my hand and honestly that helped me a lot.

I don't have small hands. I just said it made a difference for me. Why is that so hard to understand? I never said "IT HELPED ME AND EVERYONE WHO USES IT".
I see an improvement. You don't. It's okay and I understand (and know) that.

So many people use ToggleSprint these days it'd be impossible to stop people using it. Plus, I don't really think it gives that much of an advantage.Last edited on 03 January 2016 - 07:46 AM by Listen
It's not an unfair advantage. It wasn't allowed until 1.7 Badlion (the MC update which introduced the Ctrl sprint), and was banable.Last edited on 03 January 2016 - 08:01 AM by H2Q
It is an unfair advantageVanilla sprint(Tapping sprint key or double tapping w): Sprint>Accidentally hit a block or get rodded/hitting a player>Sprint breaks>Needs to retap sprint key or double tap w
Hold sprint key: Sprint>Gets rodded>Sprint breaks>Needs to rehold sprint key or wait about 2 secs I think before it auto sprints again
Toggle sprint: Toggles sprint>Gets rodded>Sprint breaks for about 100ms(unless getting rod constantly or hitting a player)>Starts sprinting again
Whats the difference?>Not sprinting gives less kb, basically not an easy combo
MCSG banned them for a reason and they even banned bajan for it LOL

Yeah it's allowed. It doesn't give you any advantage. It just gives you convenience. If you want to argue about that, then what are general mods for? Yeah they are made to make your in-game experience more convenient.
