Hello, I have some concerns about how the NCP works in the MCSG Ladder. As a creator, along with FloppehFeesh of the MCSG Ladder, we were kind've confused at why the NCP was changed to where you switch items back and forth, it will disable your use of them for a second or so. See, this feature is the main aspect of MCSG PvP because of the fishing rod's main use, combos. In MCSG when you use the fishing rod it is used to as a quick combo tool so you can switch to it hit them once and then they get knocked back and/or stunned so you have the upper-hand at getting an easy combo on your enemy. All Floppeh and I ask, is that the NCP can be worked around with so this feature can be added back so we will be able to use the main aspect of that ladder at good use. Thanks for your time.Posted on 02 July 2014 - 06:41 AM
If NCP was changed I have no idea about it, this is on Archy.Posted on 02 July 2014 - 04:03 PM
I haven't changed anything in NCP for a couple of months now. Also nothing that I could think of in NCP would prevent this. I guess I'll look into it tonightPosted on 03 July 2014 - 01:04 AM
this was an update to NCP itself a while back.Posted on 03 July 2014 - 03:55 AM

Hey, I thought I would bump this thread. I started playing in the new season and I really noticed this take an effect in the MCSG ladder.OCN had the same exact bug/glitch and they fixed it very quickly. Here is a video I made showcasing this problem.
With this, it nullifies a lot of tactics that would normally be used in the MCSG ladder. You cannot use the fishing rod for early knockback before going into the fight, you cannot eat a golden apple right before going into a fight, and you cannot use the 'bow turnaround' tactic and related bow tactics. If you do any of these things, you will not be able to attack your opponent for a brief period allowing them free damage.
I hope you guys solve this issue.

Have you looked into this yet? I think it is still a problem, even outside of the MCSG ladder it can affect gameplay. For example, if you pot and quickly try to go back to your sword your opponent can start a combo in that small portion of time it takes for you to hit them.

We'll see if this update fixes it, we are trying a test patch. Might not fix it.

If it doesn't end up fixing, you may be able to talk to last_username about it. He helped fixed it for overcast.
Thanks for the replies!
