GApple is a luck/skill/ping based ladder. I take it you don't get 0ms but you don't get 100. So the ping part is out of the way. Skill is the skill it took to break their armor. The luck is in the unbreaking. If it were up to me I'd make the armor unbreakable, that way it would make the actual gapples come into play a little bit. But then again if I did that the fights would last ten minutes if you were facing good players. I would add Unbreaking 4 to the helmet and boots, and Unbreaking 3 to the chestplate and leggings. It would balance out a little better that way. But it was mostly luck that got him that win in my eyes.Posted on 07 January 2016 - 10:15 PM
