I see, you made it seem like you were complaining about it looking laggy for you, at least that was my initial interpretation, and I left out 165hz because there's only that one asus monitor that does it

Holy shit, never once did it occur to me that I should use a mod that the vast majority of players use and depend upon or god forbid even change my video settings! Thanks dude, I'm totally in your debt now.
In case you're unable to read and interpret what I'm saying like our old friend Forcefulness, that was sarcasm. What do you think the first thing I did was? Come on here and complain without actually trying to solve the problem myself first? Wrong, my friend! I turned down my settings to THE LOWEST THEY CAN GET and this still happened.

He is not complaining about nothing. I knew this would come up.
Just because you have a 60 Hz monitor DOES NOT mean that anything over 60 frames per second is useless, because that is very false.
The higher framerate, the more pictures your monitor can potentially display, resulting in a smoother experience.
Although he uses CS:GO as an example, it applies for almost all games, 3kliksphillip did a great job explaining this here:
Go to about 1:50 to see what I'm talking about

I get 30-50 frames. Id like to get more but I am off a laptop. :PPosted on 18 January 2016 - 06:35 AM
I prefer getting a 16x16 texture pack if it really lags you, or simply play with OptiFine. However if there are coming new arena's I prefer glass instead of clay, arena's simular like K*hi.
