You're missing the point. The difference isn't that significant whether you're clicking 7-8 cps or 15-20 cps. The problem is when players use 2000 cps autoclickers

That is incorrect. I actually checked facts last night and there are many studies about trying to link excessive clicking to carpal tunnrl and none show any correlation.

Gumon got a carpal from clicking too fast and I know 2 other people who have too, but whatever, if you want to get a carpal tunnel by clicking 16 cps in mineman be my guest. Also I'd love to see a link to these studies.

I can't aim with normal clicking. Jittering stops me shaking, a friend is teaching me how to aim butterfly clicking, but to the guy on the first page, if you are butterflying and not banned after at least 10 minutes, you aren't doing it right buddy, even with low CPS butterflying GCheat will pick up the pattern (basically of a double click macro). When I got banned I was only clicking about 14 CPS, but now I have practiced I can hold 18 and peak 20

Gumon didn't get it from clicking. And if he did, show me proof. I've done 14cps+ for 3 years and don't have hand pain nor carpal tunnel. Everyone here is fearmongering.

there's a difference between definite not linked and just not enough evidence. Seriously there isn't enough people that jitter (it's pretty new), but it might become a problem in the future with more and more people using it - again there isn't enough evidence to decide whether it does cause carpal tunnel or not.

Therefore we shouldn't fearmonger over intuition

I honestly preferred it when you hacked cos you weren't a twat back then. Anyways, I know 2 people (and go ahead and ask gumon how he got then lmao) who have got it from clicking 16 - 19 cps, and there are videos on people who have gotten them from clicking or playing excessively on the computer. Your hand is in an unnatural position and you're putting strain on your muscles for a long period of time in order to jitterclick. Please tell me how the fuck you think that's healthy? I would get a picture of the system that runs through your hand and how badly you bend it which on its own could be potentially bad but I'm on my phone on a train so I'll post it later.

Edit: Also your link says there hasn't been enough consistency and quality in playing. I don't see anywhere on there where it says "Putting strain your muscles whilst in an unnatural position is safe and won't trigger this."

I love when people act like they MUST jitterclick (or get high cps) in pvp. It's not like someone is telling you "You have to jitterclick if you want to play on badlion", therefore there's no need to allow stupid cheats or stuff like butterfly clicking. The simplest solution is to simply stop jitterclicking if your hand or your wrist hurts too much.
Practice more and you'll see your cps will slowly get higher and higher without the need to jitter :)

Preach! If kids are stupid enough to hurt themselves from jitter clicking - it's their own fault, not the servers.

so can i use a 20cps autoclicker? i'm pretty annoyed with my 6-7cps and inability to jitter :(

No, because most anti-cheats picks up patterns in clicking. This is why butterfly clicking will also get you banned.

I am now on my keyboard so I can write an official response.

A. I honestly preferred it when you hacked
Cool! Guess what? I don't care. I'd rather be an honest person than to be living a lie.

B. you weren't a twat back then
Nice Ad Hominem

C. Anyways, I know 2 people (and go ahead and ask gumon how he got then lmao) who have got it from clicking 16 - 19 cps
Proof that goes beyond the abject say-so of people you know? That is not significant enough to establish a claim.

D. there are videos on people who have gotten them from clicking or playing excessively on the computer
????

E. Your hand is in an unnatural position
?????????????????????????????????????
Are you suggesting that everyone who goes on a computer gets carpal tunnel? There is nothing different about the jitter clicking position.

F. you're putting strain on your muscles for a long period of time in order to jitterclick
When you jitter click, you clench your muscles. No "strain" is applied.

G. Please tell me how the fuck you think that's healthy?
I'm not saying it is?

H. I would get a picture of the system that runs through your hand and how badly you bend it which on its own could be potentially bad but I'm on my phone on a train so I'll post it later.
Oh? This?

That is the Median nerve.

"It is not completely known how the process leading to CTS actually evolves, and how nerve conduction (the transmission of the nerve signal) through the wrist changes. In general, CTS develops when the tissues around the median nerve swell and press on the nerve. Early in the disorder, the process is reversible. Over time, however, the insulation on the nerves may wear away, and permanent nerve damage may develop."

First of all, the median nerve is the nerve for your thumb, your pointer finger, your middle finger, and your ring finger. It is not the nerve for your pinky finger. And because I can jitter click with my pinky finger we can deduce that the median nerve is not affected by jitter clicking. (not completely sound as it's possible that it's your whole hand vibrating). Your pinky is controlled by something completely different (the ulnar nerve): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ulnar_nerve. Also, carpal tunnel arises from compression of the median nerve:

There is NO "compression" when jitter clicking. Like what the fuck are you even talking about? Where and how is the median nerve being compressed in the carpal tunnel? You do realize what jitter clicking is from right? It's from clenching your muscles? That's a PERFECTLY natural process and wouldn't cause ANYTHING.

"Other contributing factors include trauma or injury to the wrist that cause swelling, such as sprain or fracture; overactivity of the ; hypothyroidism; rheumatoid arthritis; mechanical problems in the wrist joint; work stress; repeated use of vibrating hand tools; fluid retention during pregnancy or menopause; or the development of a cyst or tumor in the canal"

Link: http://www.ninds.nih.gov/disorders/carpal_tunnel/detail_carpal_tunnel.htm

2H. There is no injury to the wrist
3H. There is no spraining or fracturing to the wrist
4H. The pituitary gland is not affected
5H. Arthritis is a completely different topic, if you want to argue that instead we will go down that route.
6H. There is no mechanical problems in the wrist joint
7H. There is no "work stress"
8H. There are no vibrating tools
9H. No one here is in menopause or pregnant
10H. No one has a tumor or cyst in the canal

I. " Also your link says there hasn't been enough consistency and quality in playing. I don't see anywhere on there where it says "Putting strain your muscles whilst in an unnatural position is safe and won't trigger this.
There is NO fucking strain while jitter clicking, what the hell are you talking about? You are clenching your muscles. If jitter clicking involved lifting a rock then yeah maybe you would make more sense but I guess not.
