Homosexuality is a very, uh, polarizing topic. As for me, im in a happy committed relationship with my girlfriend.Personally, I believe that
- being gay / whatever is perfectly fine
- people who try to impose their beliefs on others are no better than Stalin or Mao
- there are a lot more gay members of society than we think just because they haven't came out (thanks society)
- if you believe everything the bible tells you to do, THEN
* No divorces are allowed. tough luck
* you can't look at people you're interested in for pleasure (adultery)
* no porn
* If you get testicular cancer you can't go to church
* If your parents gave birth to you before they were married you're a demon baby

I am a demon baby, and it's not because of my parents ;)
I agree with your post, mainly that while I personally have close friends who are gay and see nothing wrong with being gay, even if you do have a problem with gay people you shouldn't try to impose your beliefs on others. They aren't hurting anyone, and following the bible's instructions on everything in this day and age would be a little bit ridiculous.

No problem with gays, but I definitely think that some people who were questioning/not totally comfortable around girls for entirely normal reasons think they're gay now because of this recent push to 'embrace' their homosexuality, even if that's not at all what they feel.
