I've looked this up for about 10 minutes now, some other people are having the same problem as me; I can't connect to eu.badlion.net.

My situation:

Log in to eu.badlion.net says "Logging in…" for a couple minutes (I didn't time) then says "Timed out". I've tried logging in countless times, not using a VPN. Logging in with Forge 1.7.10 with modifications such as: Armour status, DirectionUHD, StatusEffectUHD, Battys coordinates PLUS, OptiFine, Shaders mod, Tabby chat. I've also tried logging in with 1.8, no difference.

I can't seem to find a solution, I don't know whether I'm banned now, though usually when you're banned you can join the server just not type in chat or go to any minigames.

If I'm banned please let me know so that I can make an appeal.

Also, if you need any more information about this, I will kindly tell you.

Solution:

Wait for about half an hour (Yes, I waited that long) and it should be fixed. I was just opening Fraps up to record this then it allowed me to join :D

I had the same problem yesterday and I fixed it without waiting
so I did Windows + R , then CMD and finally I wrote : ping eu.badlion.net
this give you the IP adress of badlion and instead of connect to eu.badlion.net, connect to the IP directly :P and it should be fixed
