Whenever you pvp other players, you can ask them whats the tactics they use, maybe that could help you improve your pvp.

Also maybe look on other videos on pvp tricks and tips to help you improve.

try to fight people who are better than you so that you learn from what they do in fights

If you want to start on potion just spam 'w' when in melee and see how little knockback you take compared to them lol

Watch good pvpers fight and learn from them - find a sensitivity that you like and is easy for you to use - find a good hot bar load out that you like. [I'm not the best but this is what I do].

Practice, watch better players play and use their strats. One thing not to do is completely copy another player eg (hot bar, sens, fov and playstyle). So yeah find setting YOU like and learn to rod and strafe. Develop your own play style

I used to suck so hard, I was your average 60 FOV noob that can't hit someone who knows what they are doing. I came on Badlion to practice, and treat it like it is actually something you want to get better at. If you are worried about elo, do unranked SG. That's the most generic fighting kit, and you can focus on all the basics such as using a fishing rod, or just straight up learning how to use a sword. Practice practice practice and you'll find yourself a better pvper. Also, focus on things you know you need to improve on.

From someone whos 1750 global (view fourth page in Match history, thank you guy who hacked my account) all I did differently as I got better was to gradually scale back my block hitting, get great aim, and try to strafe. I click 4 cps, personally I don't think jitterclicking helps

When I came to badlion I was a huge noob, I couldn't strafe and all I did was rod and run straight towards my opponent. I always blockhitted because I couldn't do anything else. My build ELO was a steady 1,600. Once I started observing the way other people played, 2000+ ELO in particular, I started to strafe and figured out some nice tactics. Some advice is to pay attention to what other (GOOD) players do and give your opponent a good fight. Don't bow spam or run for ages, that'll just piss them off. My Build is now 1,900 and my global is 1,550 and counting. So find a strafe pattern that best fits you and just practice.
