The elo system is unfair.It hurts people who work hard for their elo.
It should be 1 elo lost for a loss, and 1 or 2 elo gained for a win.
When someone becomes a 1600 or so they currently have the risk of becoming a 1400 again in just 5 matches while if they win those same 5 matches they gain about 40 elo.
That isn't fair.
Also, this overhaul would prevent mass draining, accidental draining or not
As a 1500-1700, I am losing more elo than I am gaining even though I get more wins.

OMG. Ping is a small factor in pvp. There is no such thing as luck, it is either you doing bad or the other player doing well. Not lucky if someone kills you. Now Stop complaining about the elo system and read the common ideas and suggestions thread first. I am 2.2k in Build and I always lose a lot of elo, so I need to be on point to achieve high elo.
