A new ladder

So im really sick and tired of bow spammers and lava spammers in Build so i go to mcsg same thing but with an fns, Id really like a proper melee ladder and before you go shut up and go do iron listenId like a new ladder that basically is uhc or iron/diamond but without the bow and without stuff like lava, fns enderpearl, pots stuff like that but with a rod.
Just some place you can do to not fight bowspamming tryhards *cough Gengardood cough* and just relax. Ive made 1777 useing the bow at a minimal in build uhc then i play a few games the next day and a bunch of elo manipulating 1100s drained me to 1500 (already filed a report and it was denied heres an example https://www.badlion.net/match/arenapvp/1v1/7696647 )
So it would be nice to have a nice relaxing Melee only ladder where you can just go in and not worry about other things

I love when people complain about the bow, an actual pvp tool, or about lava, and not about the cheap tool.Kit UHC without bow is pointless. UHC has been the most popular bow-based ladder on Badlion since forever. There's literally no point in wasting devs time into making the exact same copy of UHC just with a sword and the cheap toll.
Kits Diamond and Iron come from the starter kits you get in some ocn maps. There has never been a rod there, and I don't see why we should waste our devs time to make the exact same copy of these two, adding the rod and removing the bow.
I UNDERSTAND you are NOT saying "Hey change these kits remove the bow and replace it with the rod". I know. You want the devs to make a whole new kit with armour, sword and rod. And I think that's kinda stupid. I know the community has grown (and is growing) towards a more meele-based pvp. I know the cheap tool is being used by almost everyone here, and I know you would love to practice your rodrodrod skills. You need to realise Badlion tries to resemble some PvP scenarios (UHC,sg,iron/diamond,Kohi,skywars) and a "sword and rod only" ladder wouldn't fit, imo. Build is great, you can rod as much as you want and get super cheap combos, if you can't ,just practice more. I am not a rodder, and look at my elo. I honestly don't give a crap about elo and stuff, I just love doing 1v1s (I just wanted to show you, you can actually get further if you keep trying). And even if this BuildUHC ladder is basically meele/rod based, I never gave up and kept practicing and practicing and so on. I found new ways to counter attack rodspammers or rodders in general, and sometimes they actually work! I'm sure you can get way better if you don't give up right away.
On a side note, Diamond is a pretty relaxing meele ladder. I find Gapple quite relaxing too tbh, but that's just my personal opinion.
Also, you (players who use the rod) should focus more on your meele, instead of trying to become rodspam gods.

No, my elo doesn't matter. Stop judging people's play style by looking at their elo, that means literally nothing.
I wasn't disrespectful? I suggest you read my post again, maybe you just misunderstood it.
You have mcsg, that's pretty much meele/rod based. You're only give 8 arrows, which players rarely use.
You have diamond, which is just melee based. Yes, there's a bow, but that doesn't really deal any damage and bowspam is useless. Also, you're only given a stack of arrows, so at some point the "bowspammer" will have to meele.
You have Gapple, 100% melee based.
You have Combo, 100% melee based and quite fun.
Honestly, I don't really see why someone needs to complain about people who bowspam or use the bow in general, which is an actual pvp tool, while accepting the rod and the rodspam.
Seriously, chill out. Noone is attacking you or your opinions. I just don't think this would be implemented and I gave out my reasons/opinions.

I really hope you're joking ._. I'm not "taking my hate of day to day life" on anyone. I'm just sharing my opinion on this matter. Just because I'm not a rodder like the 90% of the PvP community, doesn't mean I'm some kind of "angry kid who hates everyone".

I never said their play style is cheap. I said rodding allows you to get cheap hits, therefore cheap combos. I never said you or any other rodder MUST stop rodding and 'get good'. I'm fine with your playstyle, I just don't understand why some people think using the bow is Hitler (And even if you're not actually bow spamming, they call you "bowspammer".. that's something I don't quite understand too), when they're basically acting the same way, but with their rods. Here's an example:
-A guy in BuildUHC uses the bow to push you back so that he can heal -> "omg get good bowspammer lelelelelel".
-A guy in BuildUHC uses the rod to push you back so that he can heal -> (almost) EVERYONE IS FINE WITH IT.
Or
-A guy in mcsg uses his 8 arrows to gain some health advantage -> "uhhhg bowspammer noob git gud lelelelelel"
-A guy in mcsg uses his rod to run and get some health back -> (almost) noone complains.
I just don't understand, really. Why do people think it is okay to do X with your rod, and not with the bow? So, pushing someone back with the rod is okay, but doing it with the bow is… wrong and stupid? REALLY?
(Please don't try to make me look like a bad person, I just shared my opinions on the matter, and never meant to offend/insult anyone. I appreciate every kind of opinion and I'm open to yours too.)
