I just thought about this:

If someone cheats and gets caught, they are banned forever. Fair enough. But that person knows that they can be unbanned for free with about 5 seconds of work, EVEN if they have cheated before. With this in mind, people feel free to cheat because they can be easily unbanned. Servers such as kohi take a much harsher approach to cheaters, if you are caught cheating it is an instant blanket ban, and to get unbanned you have to pay a considerable amount of money, AND you only get two chances (People still cheat there because antiskid is unbelievably unreliable - my friend heard a rumor that antiskid doesnt ban for any autoclicker below 10 CPS and actually tested it out for 30 seconds, WITHOUT getting banned). Thats why all of these kohi players log onto Badlion and get surprised when they find an anticheat that actually has a pattern detection

This is why I thought Badlion should take a similar approach. With a good anticheat and a harsh ban system, cheaters would be very rare. What could happen could be that if a person gets banned for cheating for the first time, they are IP banned and have to pay a small sum of money (around £/€/$5) and are instantly unbanned. For the second time, they are IP banned and have to pay around £/€/$10 and are kept banned for a month. On their third offense, they are IP banned without chance of appeal.

I know, this thread will probably be ridiculed, but I just hope that Badlion could take a similar approach (the fact that nearly all of the top 20 gapple were banned on JD10 makes me pretty sick). The game is dying because of cheaters.

The thing is, when you make an appeal you don't get unbanned right away. So you still have to wait out a bit before being unbanned. I'm not sure if this would work tbh, and I don't think Badlion's owners would like this.
I think we should allow second chances way more rarely, and I think the whole punishments should be reworked.
E.g.: We shouldn't allow banned players' alts on the server. If you're banned on your main, you shouldn't be able to join with an alt.

Do you realize how unfair that would end up being? If bans were automatic IP bans, the people who changed their IP would be able to alt and the people who actually waited out their bans would be stuck with nothing. If ban evasion went back to the old rule(any form of ban evasion/mute evasion leads to a harsher punishment), it would be the known players being caught evading and most others getting away with it. Accusations for cheating are bad enough, but accusations against ban evaders are worse because the normal player can't actually get much evidence other than inventory setups and fighting style.

Nope, all of the bans on my profile are not from me actually using cheats, first one was false (about 30 people were false banned during a lag spike) second one was me butterfly clicking in spawn lol

No good server will ever sell unbans. Just servers that care more about money than their own players.
