I remember back when I joined in season 6/7 around 1.5 years ago, Badlion was THE best server pvp server out there. I mean, the best players we know today were all climbing the ladders back then, but as Badlion was becoming so popular, more bow ladders were introduced to try to widen the playerbase. This reduced the number of potion pvpers, and to signal the end of the Badlion potion community, the server began to lag, and finally, BuildUHC was introduced. ALL people play now is BuildUHC, I have to wait 3 minutes on average trying to find a Vanilla match, and usually it is some 1400 trying to bow me. Back a few seasons, there would be at least 16 players in game for vanilla, but now nobody plays any sort of potion.This is why I think potion needs a revamp. We should have:
Potion tournaments
Changes to the potion kits-No bows
HCF bought back-It would be very fun to play if revamped.
Potion is what Badlion was founded on, we should at least try to bring it back, or the entire potion community will end up leaving for Kohi.

I enjoy potion ladders, I'm not good at it though and I do agree that potion pvp should try to be revamped with more tourneys etc. I do believe bows were recently taken out of NoDebuff and Kohi though, which was one of your points.Posted on 19 January 2016 - 06:37 PM
I like potion kits, I'm just really bad(by that, i mean worse than i already am at nonpot)at them. It is kinda frustrating to just be trying to play ranked(again, i've only played ranked potpvp on alts since s8).I'd definitely like more potion kits to be added to at least balance out the number of potion ladders with UHC a little bit better.

a server as big as badlion is going to go with the flow of the community so it can continue to make positive strides
also believe me, vanilla wouldve been taken out of ranked a while ago if badlion wasn't attempting to have some of its roots with it still

HCF isn't coming back on badlionBadlion is becoming a community based soley around UHC, this may not be a bad thing but as someone whos best memories of this shitty block game were spent tryharding potion pvp on badlion, having to type /unranked and asking people duel you in a particular kit, it's disappointing to see how small the potion community on badlion has become. But it's always great to see how much badlion is growing, and we have the uhc community to thank for that.

It's not impossible that we'll do a potion event sometime in the future. Badlion atm is very UHC based, but that hasn't stopped me trying to improve at pot and playing it while I can.Posted on 20 January 2016 - 11:48 PM
In my opinion, UHC is dominating badlion. Maybe, badlion should make an UHC ladder with potions instead of apples to make the player base used to potions since it is possible to get them in a UHC.
