The title basically explains it. I want to know how I can actually be 'good' at anything in arena without living in a router. Seriously, half the people I fight can get me from 4-5 blocks away. I usually have around 3ish block range.Posted on 23 January 2016 - 10:44 PM

Seriously it is getting insanely annoying seeing people complain about 'pingers', ping does give a VERY small advantage but if you are getting consistently shat on by people then is isn't a sign you need to buy a new router, it is a sign you need to improve.

Im talking about people with not much of a ping difference lol, e.g. if someone has 20ms and another person has 30ms there would be next to no advantage for the person with 20ms. Of course if you went onto AU and fought people it would be horrible but I am talking about small ping differences

Yes of course 250ms will be hard to play with but i'm saying if you have relatively low ping (less than 70ish) you wont have any problems and there is no need to call out 'pingers'

1-50 are basically the same
50-100 are basically the same
past about 200 it becomes really hard, and past 250 near unplayable

I get about 100-150ish is ping. I can destroy others or get destroyed myself. It really is just luck for me, unless there is some special tactic that I am completely oblivious too.

Exactly! I'm EU, I was messing about on NA ranked on my alt and dropped the #4 global, got DJthread to 2 pots and got ComboDombo to 0 pots - with 11 to spare (DJ still raped me like 20 more times though lol). Then when I go back onto EU I start losing to 1400s, I actually find it a lot easier to beat people with the 120-170ms I get to NA because I take delayed KB, on EU I can get these odd double hits with my 30-50ms - different ping gives you different advantages.

1ms - 50ms gets processed at the exact same time.
