Hello all!I'm creating this thread to discuss a topic that has not been brought up with staff, from what I'm aware of anyway. Badlion is growing rapidly, and its staff team is becoming better and better. However the one thing people keep doing that's annoying staff.
'Lag'
This 3 letter word causes so much disrespect. You, as a player have been playing on the server for a while now. Now and again it freezes, not frequently. All people say in chat while its lagging, is 'lag'
Why do you feel the need to say that? There are a lot of reasons why it is so dam rude. And why it makes it worse.
1. Global mute
The one everyone dreads. If you don't want it to happen then why put 'lag' in chat?
2. Makes the server even worse..
Saying lag can cause more lag , the server has to load around 100 messages. There is no need. The non-frequent lag spikes would be shorter if you did not spam.
3. Mutes for disrespect.
To be honest I feel every player that expresses they are having lag issues, the same as everyone else. Should be muted, It's dam right rude and not necessary . This 'Laglion' is also not needed because 99% of the time it is not lagging, and you wouldn't be on the server if you hated it that much.
Just to clear up please stop 'lag' in chat, as it only makes things worse :)

Why it is rude?
It's rude because it's not fair to the hard working staff and owners of this server that people spam when it freezes. You don't need to check whether it's laggin or not. I'm pretty sure you would know that it's not you lagging. Through how long this server has been improved on, you have to state whether it's lagging or not?

Laglion = 1 day muteI just keep gm on for longer than the previous time, no point in giving a lecture, does fuck all and mods aren't rly allowed to talk during gm either.
We don't put lag on automute either cos everyone would get muted.

I really wouldn't care much if people spammed 'lag' l0l, its just a fact that the server is lagging, it may be a little annoying but global mute comes in handy for that. If they are spamming 'shitlion' 'laglion' 'FIX UR SHIT BADLION!!!1111!!!11!1!!!1' or related then yes, they are being disrespectful, but just 'lag' on its own is not offensive at all and if you find it so offensive then report them, but I am pretty sure that just saying 'lag' will not get you a mute for anything else apart from spam.
