Shows highest elo
I think Badlion should try and implement something into the Badlion website that shows someone's highest elo.

For example,

Current elo: 1852
Highest elo: 1924

This would be an awesome feature that would challenge players reach a new personal best.

Absoultely -1, this removes the point of having elo. The point of elo is to show consistency or how good you are at THIS TIME. This is also the same with tennis/chess. You won't see any rankest there with a player their highest elo score ever. If this was added to Badlion, it would also kind of remove the thrill of being in a ranked 1v1, since it wouldn't be that bad to lose elo because your highest rating would be saved for the rest of the season. You can also get really lucky and get a high elo and then lose it all again but still say you had an x amount of elo which would create a false image of how good someone actually is.

You do realise your current Elo is still shown xD

The current elo would still be shown. The point of this would be to track your highest elo and try to improve and beat it

I find it funny how you mention tennis and chess, because i play both. It's equivalent to beating the number 1 tennis player on the team… even though you're only ranked number 5. Even though you may not be ranked number 1 just because you beat him, it still shows as an accomplishment that you beat him.

But the whole point in Elo is to show consistency. If you can't consistently stay at a certain Elo then you don't deserve to be there.

The reason I don't like this idea is because people get lucky runs and shouldn't really be rewarded for them as it doesn't really show their true ability. They consistently get "lowish" Elo players and grind them, inevitably getting high Elo; but then when they fight someone of equivalent Elo, they get destroyed.

As much as I can understand the appeal of the idea, personally I don't think it's necessary or would be beneficial.
