There's a million tiny content creators who record and stream every day on badlion but can never get their names noticed. I refuse to believe it's because nobody wants to watch. If we add some sort of in game infrastructure to help small content producers advertise themselves (without being annoying about it) then badlion would greatly benefit, along, of course, with the players making content themselves. For streamers, you can do a lot. Anybody streaming at the time could easily be advertised - make a /streams command and a /stream register command, or whatever. Make it so you can click somebody's name in chat and it will link you their stream. Make it so you can get a [live] tag whenever you're live. Make a page on the website like OCN's live page (archy knows) to help advertise all the streamers on badlion.
For Youtubers, it's harder. Make a custom texture pack testing area on Badlion. (This will take you ten minutes lol) Make a command like /videos or /media where it shows the latest registered videos on badlion (not sure about this, play around with that idea.)
Helping these smaller guys spread their wings is the best thing that badlion can do, and it helps everybody. As badlion moves to make Minecraft have a realistic competitive scene, it must in every corner of its movement make sure that it's supporting competitive Minecraft as a whole. Competitive Minecraft as an eSport will not be taken seriously if Competitive Minecraft as a Minecraft gamemode is not taken seriously by the Minecraft community itself, and to make sure that it is, Badlion needs to make sure competitive Minecraft becomes popular as much as it can, and this is a huge step in that direction.

This seems like a great idea. The more youtubers/streamers want to play on badlion the more the community will grow. Adding more of a youtube scene exploded call of duty as an eSport so I dont see why we cant do the same thing here, just on a much smaller scale.Posted on 03 February 2016 - 12:00 AM

+1 this in place of the "/twitch" postPosted on 03 February 2016 - 12:30 PM
Great idea, something like this was made on FaceIt, platform for CS:GO matchmaking. IIRC you just sign up on their website and if you're playing on their servers, it shows their stream on their website. This is only for streaming though.Posted on 03 February 2016 - 12:35 PM
+1 if badlion can get noticed more on twitch/youtube not only would it help the streamer/youtuber but help the badlion community growPosted on 03 February 2016 - 01:41 PM
