Well, you won't believe it, guys - I just finished up my 20 ranked matches for today (once again, can't wait until I get a donator rank), and I finished off my time with a FIVE-GAME winstreak! This gave me 70 elo, and with my final match I hit 1450 elo exactly! This is really exciting for me, because I get to stand precisely halfway between 1400 and 1500 while I'm not playing. It's such a great feeling to know I've hit that milestone again!I have also switched my FOV from 90 to 80, and it seems to have improved me in all aspects of my pvp. I'm hitting about twice as many bow shots as usual (and my usual is not terrible, either), and I seem to be doing much better with rod-strafing, rod-critting and blockhit-comboing. I'm feeling stoked!

Status report - Well, I did my 20 (plus voting) ranked matches yesterday, and I'm still above water (which means I didn't go below 1400), but I also sadly didn't end up gaining any elo at the end. My highest point of the day was 1466 elo, which I'm happy with. However, I ended off the day with 1431.I'm definitely improving, and I'm just happy that I didn't sink back down to the 13s again.

Hit a new all-time elo record - 1482 elo! This was only my second fight of the day (the first fight I beat a 1700), and I am once again regretting playing any more matches directly after those two successes, because I now stand at 1441 after playing 7 more ranked matches after those first 2. Even though 1441 is nowhere near as good as 1482, it's still 10 more elo than I stopped at on Feb. 21st, so I'm happy.The only thing I'm really angry about is the fact that I screwed up my pagefile and caused myself to lag terribly and then crash at the end of a fight against an 1196, from which I lost 27 elo. However, I know I can get back up in the rankings even with stupid lag spikes at the ends of some fights.
I look forward to the next time I can get online and work on my elo!

Well… Here I am, on a Mac book pro 13 inch retina display getting almost a solid 60 fps, in India with about 250-300 ping and have on a good day 1500 elo. I've been drained down to 1485, but I'm normally a 1500. Oh well, we all start somewhere. Also, I have a 60 dollar mouse (Logitech g502), so my hardware isn't the worst, but I have 8 gigs of ram and the GPU on this thing is pathetic.Edit: all time high 1547, then got drained. Rip elo.

Update - well, I'm back at my favorite number once again, 1400 exactly. I don't know why, but I drained myself down 56 elo yesterday. RIP.

I want to 1v1 you, since I'm only a little higher elo than you, but hey, I think it'll be a good fight. Seriously, congrats on breaking the 1500 mark! @Metarus, I normally play on NA1, but if I'm 1v1ing one of my friends we go on NA4. The only real problem is that I get online at a very odd time - normally between 12:30am and 3:45am EST. This is why I don't often see too many people I know from the forums online. I did, however, get to fight @WhatDefinesYou last night, which didn't go too well, lol.But guys - I am absolutely amazed and overjoyed. I have successfully, for the first time ever, hit 1500 in BuildUHC elo! I am officially 1503 at the moment, and oh my goodness, guys - you have no idea how great of a feeling it is to have hit such a big marker. I am so happy :D

Well, that doesn't exactly encourage me, considering you still 4.5'd me while you were half asleep, but it was fun to get to fight someone I knew from the forums. I forgive you for taking 2 of my precious elo ;)

I've got my custom hotkeys on the hotbar set up correctly, and I have the two extra buckets directly above the hotbar slots with those buckets, as well as wooden planks directly over my cobblestone and the diamond axe over the diamond pickaxe.
I may just spread the arrows around the empty space in my inventory just to make it look cool, though :P
