Badlion Turns Three

Today Badlion is turning three years old. Three years ago from today Archy published the first version of ArenaPvP (called BadlionPvP back then) for his friends to play on and enjoy. I could go on writing for a while about the beginning of Badlion, but Archy already did it for me! You can read the two year old post here: https://www.badlion.net/forum/thread/24556

I want to share all of the things that have changed majorly in the network for the past year. I'm not particularly in the mood to write a long speech today, so I thought I would keep the post short and simple in a nice bullet form list.

  • Peaks are now around 8k players instead of 2k players.
  • GCheat is now completely out of beta and has been banning for over a year now.
  • Our staff team has gone from around 70 people to about 200.
  • The MiniUHC servers have been added to the network
  • SG 2.0 is being worked on.
  • UHC has had multiple revisions done.
  • ArenaPvP was introduced from the old PotPvP and SoupPvP servers.
  • We re-introduced chat into the lobbies.
  • We have over 3x the number of threads and posts on the forums than we did a year ago.
  • The Development Team has grown from 3 people up to 9 people
  • The Administration Team has gone from 5 people to 9
  • The Appeals are now directly integrated into the network
  • IP Bans were introduced

    As far as future changes for the network in the coming months:

  • We are really starting to stack up features for our new revision of SG 2.0
  • We are working on a bunch back end network wide features such as clans, boosters, cosmetics, etc
  • ArenaPvP is getting re-planned out for season 13 changes (not yet announced)
  • New website design (actively trying to find someone to work with us on this)
  • Lots of new game modes
    • .
    We are going to be focusing a lot at the moment on our core features/game modes/network features and once we feel we have most of the building blocks put into place we are going to be releasing new game mode after new game mode after new game mode and really try to grow Badlion a lot.

    Here's to another successful year of Badlion filled with a lot more growth and success. Thanks everyone for the help so far, we would literally not be anywhere today without all of you playing and helping to support our servers.

    Wooo! The only thing I would change is back when we removed that really good server… what was it called again? Oh yeah! SOUP PVP!

    but really its amazing to witness all the growth that has happened in the past year, Badlion is pretty damn amazing.

    This has been a fun server to enjoy the past three years I have been here, I've had a lot of fun and have been banned quite a lot!

    Please link this thread to every user saying in their appeal that they've been banned 4 years ago and using it as an excuse to not remember anything.
