I know the feeling. Honestly, sarcastic replies to this thread do nothing but cause ill feelings to the OP :/On topic: try using your lava to get them on fire if you can't beat them at bow or sword (I'm assuming this is BuildUHC).
If they jump to crit, it's easier for you to get them into a combo :)
