My internet
Ok, so normally I get 20ish ping, and it stays steady throughout the whole day. Then at about 9:00 pm every night it just spikes up to 90-100… This isn't just badlion its every server. Playing with this high Ping is really hard since I'm used to 20. I just wanted to know if anyone else experienced this issue and if anyone knew the solution, thx

Maybe people who have the same ISP as you start using their internet during that time so it gets slower.. also 20ms is amazing, learn to play and get some skill to play with higher ping :p

I never said 20 was bad, it's just that it's hard to time everything correctly with different ping.

If you have enough skill you won't notice it. I have a bad router so I have to deal with 80+ms all the time

Happens to me too, normally around 8-9pm. No idea what causes it.

That's all you can do is just get used to it. If someone wanted to 1v1 you you couldn't say "Well it's 9pm and my ping is too high so I can't 1v1", so just get used to it so you can PvP in all situations.

Uh routers don't cause bad ping

It's distance

Hey, I had this problem too. I was able to solve it by literally wrapping my router in aluminum foil. It sounds ridiculous, but it did the job.

On the real though, could be provider problem, but most likely lack of bandwidth.

Incorrect. I get 40ms on my school internet and 80ms on my home internet and the speeds are same. Routers do cause it.

do I need to explain how ping works

unless you have an absolute SHIT router, your ping won't be affected, it's based on distance to the server ._.
