I think the most mature and lasting relationships are built upon close friendships that develop over time, and I'm vehemently against the general western girlfriend/boyfriend relationship: a relationship held together by sexual desire. I know this is a tough topic but how do you counter depression? People say "just focus on bright things" but that doesn't really help that much..Opinions?

What is your opinion on abbreviations? Do you think it's fine to use "idk" instead of "I do not know"? What is better, "I don't" or "I do not"?
