I used to be obsessed with looking at this stuff a long while back; I'd always take a consumer reports mag and read off their ratings for cars and parrot their reviews whenever asked about them. Unfortunately for me, that subscription was one day canceled, and my interest in cars subsided. I don't remember a thing about them anymore, so you're gonna have to ask my car obsessed friend now if you're looking for an aswer. But it wouldn't be q&a with Morsinius then, would it?

It's really gonna have to be Apple. For the 12 or so years I've been using them, their products have always been reliable, long-lasting and easy to use. Such is true of their smartphones, and I probably would be using the same iPhone 4 to this day had I not switched to a newer model this year. Badmouth them all you want, but a jailbroken iPhone is one of the most versatile, customizable, and easy-to-use phones out there. My experience with Android phones has been nasty: their interface is wonky, there's no centralized way to sync stuff, and I personally found it very difficult to change the settings on the thing.

Clarinet - I've been playing one for about seven years now and I can't tell you how much I adore it. The sound is lovely, malleable, and can fit into practically any classically produced piece of music.
Piano - I'm not that fond of the actual sound it produces, but it's got a great range and a nice, staple sound that's truly applicable to any kind of music. The piano is also fairly easy to play and is arguably the best instrument for playing both rhythms, melodies, and harmonies all at the same time.
Violin - Versatile instrument, and it produces a gorgeous sound; I'd love to learn how to play this some day
Theremin - Sounds absolutely haunting – might be the best instrument in terms of sound
Chimes - Best percussion instrument and you know it
The voice! - The most expressive and most passionate instrument of all, the voice is what really makes music as interesting as it is
