If some day badlion decides to host a server in Asia, please host it in Singapore. It's a central location in asia so almost all players in asia will get <100ms. If not singapore, host it in any other central location. Hosting it in the far east or far west will prevent badlion from gaining players from the opposite side of asia, and the asia playerbase is already pretty small, so it's better to keep the server in a central location.@MasterGberry

It's because Asians get shit ping and hence don't want to play on badlion. If americans got 250ms to badlion I'm sure 90% wouldn't play on it.

To be honest,There aren't that many Asian players that play badlion currently so I doubt they will get an Asian connection host.
Sorry :C

Not trying to be rude, but that's literally the most retarded thing I've read all day.

Here's an AMAZING IDEA!!!!!!!!!-take down na4/eu5 for a month
-install a Singapore server for a month with 50 slots as a trial server
-expand server if it fills over 50 slots
-if it constantly fills up, permanently take down eu5 and/or na4 (no one ever uses them) and install that mentioned Singapore server.

That's far too expensive.
Bad idea. The issue isn't Na4 or anything, it's the host

Taking down na4 will reduce costs temporarily, right? They can use the cash to buy a Singapore server

nope. The entire point is setting up a host. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it's like 10x easier to get more NAs then 1 AS as the host is already setup.

The reality is we don't have new realms being added because of latency issues as well. Australia already is a handful to deal with and we actually have a lot of people playing there. We don't want to add a new realm just for it to get hit offline.
There is a possibility of a Singapore server at the end of 2016 as OVH will be opening a datacenter there. No promises of anything before then though.

There are really no other good hosts in Asia that offer good quality ddos protection?
