Nope, in single player vanilla rods can be used on the same manner on mobs instead of players, and they can be used infinitely using the glitch

Yeah fam using a fishing rod while you're trying to slice someone up makes a bit of sense. I use the rod don't get me wrong it helps you win but imo it shouldn't.
