When I first joined I could barely hold 1400 elo (around 1 year ago)

Took me like 6 months to get remotely decent at the game

I started moving in the right direction when I finally got a mouse….
It was hard to PvP with a trackpad.

I mean, I was top 30 worthy (on the fridge, my server i comp played), but that would be like 1500 Elo build here so meh. I'm still shit after 3 years

Prepare for story time :O

I started minecraft in 2011, and played survival for pretty much a year. I had a crappy laptop and always froze and died to mobs (then I learned to lower my settings lol.) Say around 2012 I started to play on some low quality sg/survival servers, I was worse than bajan and was an Antvenom fanboy… I thought he and the other big ego youtubers were actually good. I stayed this way until 2014, when in one of Antvenom's videos people were commenting about Huahwi, so I checked him out. Let's just say I had moved out of my noob stage at that very moment. I started playing MCSG and eventually found my way to Badlion. This was around the time when it was still Soup orientated I believe (I had a different account back then.) I started to get more into the pvp scene and played mainly Badlion, MCSG, OCN, and some smp servers. Around the end of 2015 I really got into badlion, I got a new laptop and started to pvp a lot, hours a day. I wasn't all that great, I really just rodded, and block hit my opponents. But eventually I found my Build ELO going up until it hit 1,900 at the end of season 10. At this point I was pretty good at pvp and I just continued to play, I'm 2k this season which was a huge accomplishment :D

So yes, I was bad when I first started, REALLY bad, but as time went on I got better and better. My advice for getting better is just to keep at it. Don't be discouraged when losing a lot, Badlion is a competitive server with some of the best pvpers out there. Also watching youtubers/streamers (Good ones like Danteh) play will help you improve greatly. If you don't find yourself improving maybe buying a donor rank could help because of unlimited ranked matches. Just keep playing, you'll get there.

TIME FOR A LITTLE RANT KIDLETS

So I first got into CoD due to a friend, so I came across some yters. I forgot who they were, but somehow they transitioned to minecraft xbox version. I Decided to buy the game on the computer cause why not. After this, I came across bajan and jerome. I eventually found out about a youtuber who I forgot who mentioned zincbox. I went on zincbox for like six months and was still bad but slightly less. I saw this youtuber spamming on the server about a server called badlion (he got banned shortly after lmao) Then, I went on it. I was struggling for 1500 mcsg for a while, but then I realized that i suck at sword. I moved onto archer ladder and climbed and climbed to the point where I was a steady 1750. The next season, I got 1980 archer and I got drained like 150 elo. After I cried, the new season came. Alas came builduhc, the kit where I was so god-awful at to begin with. I dueled probably 200 people a day and finally became decent. I then ghost killed a 2.2k (Whoops) and got to 1800. I cried tears of joy and then I became not so bad at pvp.

The End
