Hello,So recently, I've found myself in numerous occasions were I need staff, due to hackers / teamers (ffa) / other things, and there's never really any staff online. Furthermore, when staff are online, they seem to just afk most the time therefore are pretty much useless for being online.
I believe you should disallow staff to be afk making have them leave, or even, recruit more staff in a variety of timezones so get around this problem.

IMO we just need more staff. Most of the staff are dealing with other people's reports, and as there are usually about 3 mods for 1k players on na1 during much of the day, most reports go unseen/ignored because of them being occupied with something else. I agree with the need for more staff and less afking among the staff members. However I generally notice that many staff are on throughout the day. Agreed with you both, I honestly just feel, if staff are going to afk, they should either leave, or Badlion should implement something to vanish them. Or this could even happen when they're in a match.Posted on 14 February 2016 - 08:01 PM

I agree, staff are always needed on the network, this is why the applications are always open. We won't, however, accept low-quality applicants just because we are in need of staff. The team is constantly growing, so there's nothing more we can do to get more staff.Although, activity is necessary for staff. We cannot be online 24/7, we have lives outside of minecraft. Staff are required to notify higher-ups if they're going to be inactive, I assure you, the activity of staff members is watched very closely so all staff are active and the quality of staff is high! If they were constantly inactive, they would be removed.
As for your point on 'afk staff'. I cannot comment much on this, however, realise that there are usually 750+ players on a server with 1-3 people moderating that! That's a big difference. We cannot always focus our attention to one player at a time.
