Right i understand you may be short on mods but EU are missing a lot of uhc's such at 11:30 game last night we normally have and the 1:30 today but I think EU bring the most people to badlion anyway ( NOT 100% SURE) like I thought you were short of mods so I considered applying for mod but I know I'll get turned down for too many mutes and been toxic so I understand but if you are so desperate for mods start accepting more people.

Having that attitude towards staff won't help you at all. If you are truly sorry for the punishments, you should mention that in your application.

What's the point in badlion accepting more mods who are incapable of fulfilling the requirements.If they hired a bunch of illiterate mods what do you think would happen? That's why thinking about choosing the right moderator can be a tough job and it requires a lot of maturity..

Agreed. Maturity and professional manner, more than anything, are required. You have to able not only discern and record hacks, not only mod the chat, not only handle multiple different conversations at once, not only be willing to completely sacrifice gameplay time for moderation duties, and not only be able to exercise good judgement at all times…

You have to do it all while being incredibly professional and never losing your temper. I've had people say everything from death threats, to telling me how to do my job, to spamming me, to making rude comments about my mother (lol) and I've only been a mod for a few weeks. Throughout the entire time, you have to never retaliate and remain professional at all times.

I'm not saying it's a bad thing. I love moderation, and I love the staff team on this server. It's an incredibly rewarding job. But don't ever tell me it's easy. I'm a high school student, and moderating a 600 player server late at night, alone, while the database is down and all 600 of those players are confused and angry and looking to you is the single most overwhelming thing I've done, period.

This isn't meant to be a rant, but what Badlion needs isn't just more mods, it's more good mods. We need people who will be able to manage that 600 player server, and hopefully do a better job than I did.

I totally understand what you are all saying but as a uhc player I love uhc and EU are missing a lot of uhc and badlion is the only thing I play on so it annoying.
