I keep hearing people ssaying Judgement day v7 and crap, what does it mean?Posted on 16 February 2016 - 04:48 PM
Basically a giant ban wave of hackers.Posted on 16 February 2016 - 07:05 PM
I'll put it in easy words since more goes on behind the scenes. When Judgement Day starts you can say hackers were saved onto a list and when it starts all of the hackers are banned. 100s of people are all talking in chat, only Donors though to prevent the chat from being crazily spammed by everyone on the server. It's interesting to see all of the Youtubers and very famous players banned and embarrassed in-front of everyone for their crimes. Here's a video of a Judgement Day.

Why wait weeks to ban the cheaters just for a 'ebin event xd' when you could remove them from the network right away? Is letting hackers lurk the network for more time than they should really worth it?

Because client developers will know instantly whether their clients are detected & therefore be able to easily know what works and doesn't. Also, it makes it so that more people will think a certain hack is undetectable so that more will use it (and get detected).
Also it's hilarious to see well-known players get humiliated.
