I got banned on badlion in April 2015 for hacking. I took full responsibility today, because I didn't know that you could appeal, and I figured my appeal would be ignored because I had previously been subjected to severe admin abuse on badlion in 2013(?) it was around the start of the server when you would choose gear and enchant it and customize your full inventory with potions and stuff, and an admin got mad that I was "carrying out the fight too long" and that I beat him, so he started swearing at me and then banned me. The reason I used hacks the one time was because at the time I didn't know that the staff member no longer was on badlion, and I was still mad at the server as a whole because of this experience. Today I appealed and was finally unbanned while using the name munchganger420. I proceeded to play badlion for about 6 hours straight, because I wanted to get good clips for a badlion FFA UHC montage. When I finshed recording, I decided to change my name to V/SUAL because it was more proffesional, and V/SUAL is my favorite clothing brand. However, you aren't allowed the use of "/" in a username, so I tried VISUAL, which was taken, V1SUAL, which was also taken, and VISUAL_ which wasn't taken. After changing my name I log out of badlion and restart minecraft to apply the name change for my next set of clips I planned to record. However, when I tried to join the arena game mode, it said I was banned for "Forcefield". I was confused, because 1. I wasn't using forcefield, and 2. I had just gotten unbanned and was playing earlier, so I knew it wasn't an earlier punishment that I hadn't noticed. Even though I knew I wasn't in the wrong, I clicked the appeal link, only to find that according to badlion.net, I am not banned. My username on badlion.net is still munchganger420, because it takes several hours to update to new usernames on badlion.net. However, when you search "VISUAL_" on badlion.net, it brings you to an account that was banned in 2013, and it is not me. Obviously the account is de-activated or something because I was able to change my name to VISUAL_, which means it's no longer in use. Now I have been messaging Badlion staff for the past hour trying to explain what has been happening. I give the staff props because they responded in a timely fashion, even though I don't believe they understood what I was saying, because this situation is very complicated, and I have never heard of this happening to anyone else before. All I ask is for badlion staff to somehow fix the problem, whether it be by unbanning the VISUAL_ account even though it isn't me, or by doing something else. Also if anyone thinks that these claims are forged, I will be happy to provide video proof that I wasn't hacking, although I would think that's unnecessary, because the ban on the VISUAL_ account isn't even meant for me, and it was made in 2013, and my username was demonmask2013 in 2013, never VISUAL_. Lastly, I would like to say that I find it funny that the VISUAL_ account's skin is based off the same character (quote from cave story) as my current skin, because I have only seen 2-3 other people with it. Once again to make myself clear, the VISUAL_ account you find when you search badlion.net IS NOT ME. I also want to know what will happen when my current username updates from munchganger420 to VISUAL_. will the presence of 2 accounts using the same exact name be conflicting, or will you be able to remove the other account since it isn't in use?

edit: the story gets even more confusing. It turns out that the ban is not my fault nor the fault of the badlion staff. My old account (demonmask2013) uses the email damonhumble0@gmail.com. My new account, munchganger420, uses the email demonmask2014@gmail.com. when I changed my name I accidentaly did so on my demonmask2013 account. However, when I changed it, it told me that my name was munchganger420, not demonmask2013, and that led me to believe I was changing the name on the right account. It gets even more confusing. When I tried to log in with my demonmask2014@gmail.comaccount on mojang.com, it said there was no minecraft account associated with that email. However in the launcher, I am still able to choose to play as VISUAL_, or munchganger420. What this means is that somehow both accounts got combined into 1 account (the old demonmask2013, damonhumble0@gmail.com), but since it still lets me play online as either account in game, it essentially means that I have created a ghost account (munchganger420) which is unlisted, yet is still playable. So technically, munchganger420 no longer exists, yet it somehow does exist at the same time. Pretty spooky stuff. anyways now I know that all that needs to happen is that VISUAL_ needs to be unbanned.

edit: this isn't over yet. After writing that I thought this was done with, but now I was able to change the name of my munchganger420 account to VISUAL_1ZE. However, it still says that I don't have an actual account associated with the name munchganger420, and i'm still able to play on it, as well as play on my VISUAL_1ZE account, and VISUAL_. That means that assuming this isn't a temporary glitch, I could theoretically generate an unlimited number of minecraft accounts for free, and none of them will be associated with an email, which means that as long as I have the passwords to log them in, they would literally be an unlimited number of unlisted minecraft accounts at my disposal and I could generate more whenever needed. I'm not going to attempt this because it is most likely severely illegal, but it would be an interesting experiment.

I would also like to extend the question to the community- have you ever been in a situation such as this or another strange situation on badlion, or any other minecraft server? If so, please tell me because I am curious. :)

You hacked in April 2015 because "an admin abused you" in 2013… something seems fishy.

You don't understand, I already disliked the server in 2013 before I was abused by the admin, so me not liking the server (because i liked project ares/oc.tc better) coupled with the admin abuse, caused me to completely stay away from the server until 2015, and when I returned I still thought poorly of it. I literally joined, challenged a guy to 1v1, toggled my aimbot, and was instantly kicked before I even moved. It was only recently that I started watching people play badlion, and it looked like a lot of fun, so I decided to appeal and admit I was hacking in April.

basically I want the VISUAL_ account to be unbanned because I was unfairly banned by an abusive mod/admin (I think it was a mod actually) in 2013.

You changed your name to VISUAL_1ZE and not VISUAL_. There shouldn't be any problem logging in.

can you please tell me the flaws cause that's exactly what happened, I was placed in an unranked iron 1v1, and then kicked the second it started

I know now it's fixed, but the VISUAL_ account actually did turn out to be mine, and I want to know if that account can get unbanned

Sure. Register or log in to VISUAL_ and make an appeal.
