Ok guys, so the 1.7.10 lags for me… Even tho the FPS keep being above 100 I feel like its going like with 30 FPS so I can´t use it. I tried the 1.7.9, but I have a problem that I also experienced with 1.7.10… I think you can notice in the video, but the thing is that out of nowhere my screen starts kind of like flashing and I dont understand why… Any ideas?(Video will be in 720p in a minute.)

You can notice the "Flashes" during 1:00 and after, just watch that.Posted on 18 February 2016 - 03:19 PM
Ok so I just deleted minecraft completely and the 1.7 was going fine until I inserted my texture pack into the .minecraft folder and started using it… The pack works fine in 1.8 but in 1.7.10 it makes my screen flash like in the video. Is there a solution for this?Posted on 18 February 2016 - 03:24 PM
This might be to do with your graphics card… If you have optifine change the chunk loading to smooth.Last edited on 18 February 2016 - 04:13 PM by FelipeC7

Why would it be related with my graphics card if it works completely fine in 1.8? I think it might be the texture pack itself?
My texture pack uses 43 MB, is that too much? Should I transform it into a winrar file?

Another thought. Turn off VBO's & Advanced Open GL. It's not the texture pack.

Uh, the size shouldn't do much, and winrar wouldn't do anything, because the files should already be compressed. I thought you meant like RAM at first lol. Here's a thought: are your particles and animations off?

I tried everything you said, keeps flashing. I disabled Open GL and also tried it at "Fast", nothing happened. I don´t think I have any VBO´s, because I just re-installed minecraft completely(I didn´t find the option of enabling/disabling VBO´s)The only thing that has made a difference is "fast render", in the performance part of "video settings". It helped me to reduce a little bit (Only a little bit) the flashes. But yeah, that option is not very comfortable for me… I mean, fire doesn´t even move in my screen with that option.
The reason I thought it was my texture pack´s fault is because, after re-installing minecraft completely, 1.7.10 was not lagging, and when I introduced my old resource pack folder to my new ".minecraft" folder (yes, I also deleted the .minecraft folder), it started lagging again. Not really lagging, but flashing, as you saw in the video.
