I play on an iMac 27 inch screen and I think it does pretty well for minecraft but im a scrub and I want something moar l33t. So I want to build a good gaming PC, I personally think mac is better then PC for most things, even gaming IN GENERAL, but thats only in general, a pc specificly for gaming wil be faster. I am keeping my iMac but I want you guys to let me know your PC specs, and how much FPS you get *please put your video settings* in general, and how much you get while recording. I play with my video settings on like normal render distance *8 i think*, graphics: fast, framerate max, smooth lighting off, and I get a constant 100-130 while playing and anywhere from 80-110 while recording. I built mine for around 2,000$ and It was well worth it in my opinion. If you play minecraft exclusively don't bother spending the extra money, you can get very cheap computers that will run minecraft with ease.Posted on 12 July 2014 - 10:09 PM
well here are my specs :gtx 770 oc
i5 4670k
coolermaster gt 750
Asrock Z87M pro4
Kingston hyperx beast 8GB 1600MHZ
i get arround 500 fps average when pvping without recording.
i think a full gaming pc with these specs +a hdd will be arround 900$-1100$ depends on what type of case you're getting and if you're going to get an ssd or not.
Edit:like ocracy said if you're going to play just minecraft then you might not want to spend this much on your pc,instead get a low end-mid specs pc or just stick with your mac.

@ZombieForce well if u literally stopped reading after the word PC in that sentence… .-. Mac has some seriously good anti virus pre installed, go for mac if you just want to play mc
