As a non-donor, the uhc whitelist is very hard to get by so I can actually play a game. This is disappointing when one of my friends doesn't get in and we all have to do something else. I think there is a better solution to the whitelist.1. The host and mods need time to prepare for the UHC. They shouldn't have interference with donors before the whitelist should be off. This will allow for more non-donors to get spots in the UHC and the host gets better prep time. Youtubers, streamers, and famous people should get in since they won't be annoying to the host and so they get a garunteed spot in for viewers.
2. Even when the server is full donors can get in, which can still be a perk for donating. Since more non-donors will get in, there has to be a perk still for donating. Donators will be able to get in 75 over the whitelist. Donator+ will get in 100 over the whitelist. Lions can get in 125 over the whitelist. Youtubers, streamers, and famous can get in anytime, in case if they are late to the pre-whitelist. Since more non-donors will get in, we need to limit the amount of donors that can get in or it will be too crowded.
3. Now that the issue of getting in is covered, I've had multiple experiences with one of my friends playing and they crash before the game. Once they get back online, the server is full and they can't get back on. Once you join, there should be a command block repeatedly running [/whitelist @a], which will whitelist everyone on the server in case of that misfortunate incident.
4. There is also an issue of CONSTANT SPAMMING FOR WHITELISTS. It honestly is so annoying and you'll even miss when the whitelist comes off because you're too busy spamming. There should be a queue AFTER the game starts, where if you don't get in, lions can whitelist their friends OR someone in the queue. To make sure the UHC isn't too overcrowded, you can't get whitelisted after 75 over the fill in queue. This rule, however, shouldn't apply to the lion's friends trying to get whitelisted.
If this doesn't work, I have an idea of a new system for getting people in the UHC. You would have to look at the UHC times and actually have an account and whitelist your username if you are a non-donor. How this would work is donors, youtube, streamers, and famous people in the first wave of people, and the fill of the people who reserved a spot on there. If after a minute the server still isn't full, the server will let other people in next on the list, so on until the game is full. Donors can still get on after this time if they please. This provides the host time to get things set up, and its first come first serve. This will reduce spamming before a UHC so that the chat is cleaner. I do prefer the previous idea better.
If you have any other ideas for the whitelist, want to revise my statements here, or have any other feedback, let me know in the comments. I'd love to see your suggestions and get this problem fixed.
Thanks

Would it be better to see this plan in action compared to the current one? This would be great for a non-donor, I need input from a donor so they get what's fair too.Posted on 20 February 2016 - 02:58 PM
since im a lion i dont agree with thisPosted on 20 February 2016 - 02:59 PM
and its just like 5 dollars for donar for a month so its not that hardPosted on 20 February 2016 - 03:00 PM
I don't think it's hard for non-donors to get in. As a non-donor I've gotten into about 25 uhcs, and failed to get into about 1 or 2. @InsanecuberPosted on 20 February 2016 - 03:34 PM
How would you guys revise this plan so the donors and non-donors are happy?Posted on 20 February 2016 - 03:35 PM

Which parts should I remove or add. I think the whitelist queue to reduce spam is a good idea.

People have donated to have these rights of being able to join any UHC without restriction and that won't be taken away any time soon. The lowest rank is only $5 a month. Donations are what keep the server alive. Something for you to consider before trying to make non-donor worth having and no longer need to donate.

I see where you're coming from, but honestly, I can't afford to get a rank, and I think the server should have restrictions so donators still get perks but EVERYONE gets to play. I know it would be hard to change, but this morning, a uhc was 100 players over the max players BEFORE the whitelist came off. This isn't fair to us because right now, it's a pay-to-play situation. I dont think badlion should be like this and we need to revise the UHC's so all people can play. I think the sign up for UHC's on the website is fair, because everyone who isn't a donor can get in, and THEN donors can get in. Everyone wins in this situation.

Pay to play is legal in the EULA, pay to win isn't. Life isn't fair mate, and the ways to make money off this game that aren't pay to win are few and far between. Everyone has to sacrifice for the greater good. It would be great if everyone could play, but not everyone can. You can't demand a perk about something you haven't contributed or helped to get. Do you vote every day on all 5 sites? Are you on 24/7? If so, then maybe you would deserve it, but otherwise, it's just not right

I kind of agree with @Pizzaboy , Badlion needs donations to continue and why would you donate for nothing in return? But I was a non donator once and it was impossible to play anything, In conclusion though I think it's good how it isPosted on 21 February 2016 - 07:34 PM

There hasn't been a server shut down because of this, but it's no coincidence that all major networks have moved (mostly) away from p2w. Considering Badlion is a legitimate company they need to follow the law (EULA,) both for continuation of the company and to avoid legal issues.
To your second point. If you can't play, you can't win, this is very true. You are given a certain amount of matches a day on arena and have unlimited chances to join mini UHCs. You have a small chance to get into regular UHCs. Don't tell me this isn't more than fair.

I know a lot of semi-large servers that use p2w, but they nerfed donor perks after the EULA, idk. And yes 20 matches a day without voting is very fair, I do agree.

Then they are not a company, or don't care about being shut down (money whores)

I gotta idea. Play Reddit since there isn't people with prewhitelist. And it's also easier to get in
