First off, as a form of punishment. You have obviously broken our servers rules and therefore, you've been muted. You have had the privilege of the chat taken away from you. Allowing you to communicate through helpop would just be pointless, especially seeing as we have /report. I don't think people realise how closely we monitor the reports that come our way. Just because we haven't verbally thanked you for the report, or said that we are watching, 99% of the time, we are.

Secondly, /helpop is often used by players in extremely inappropriate ways. Imagine a player that was muted for the misuse of /helpop. What reason would there be for the mute if the player can just continue to unnecessarily abuse their privilege of helpop?

We like when people use /helpop to get us to check a player out, but if you cannot do your bit and behave in chat, then you will have to settle with reporting the player and moving on.
