What do you mean you drop 100 frames a lot of the time? What are the conditions that this occurs?

Badlion maps are very laggy for me too, on this laptop I have been playing on I get about 30-40 FPS on Badlion maps, about 20 in spawn lol, and on Kohi I get 50-60 FPS, is there still water under the maps???

Water under the bridge

Haha I'm so funny

if you're using an 60hz monitor, you don't need anything higher than 60fps because you won't visually see the difference

In theory yes, but your eyes see smoother gameplay at higher fps, it's similar to adding a candle to a dark room vs a light one, the light one will still seem lighter than before, but not as much

What are your PC specs? For 700 pounds, you get ripped off with an unbalanced (unless you built it yourself, but even there, there's a chance of that happening)

I've always been surprised at how much FPS affects my gameplay. Humans can only see about 24ish (from what I've heard) but the game itself feels choppy and less responsive. Recently, I accidentally turned Vsync on (capping FPS at 60) and I noticed I was significantly worse at aiming than before. Once I turned it off and got up to 150 FPS, my aim improved immensely.

the only difference I can see here may simply be better mouse movement / less mouse latency the higher it goes

No, human eyes can definitely see well beyond 1000 frames
24 is just a standard framerate for movies

Huh, I didn't know that. Did some research, and while it's not exactly clear that we can see as high as you say there, it's clear that anything up to 150 FPS helps a lot, and the upper limit on what humans can see may be much higher.
