So recently, I went from 1700 at to 1500, so any tips on perfecting the sg tactic, flint and steel then run away?Posted on 28 February 2016 - 10:44 AM

Thanks, I mean next season I prob won't do sg ladder, starting to not like waiting 2 minutes for my opponent to do something other than wait for me to rushPosted on 28 February 2016 - 12:39 PM
Get good with bow, bow is op in SG if your accurate.Posted on 07 March 2016 - 09:45 PM
Learn to quickly do it right in front of them. I'm no expert, but you get the point. I suggest spectating a high-end ELO player.Last edited on 07 March 2016 - 09:51 PM by RealBlobRobber
Play aggressive and just combo your opponent as you would in build. If your opponent places fns it's ok to run through it because you will take less kb while on fire (Which will give you an advantage.) Gapple after knocking your opponent back or bowing them a few times if you're low.Another strat is to play passive and try to stay above 5 hearts but you won't get any better playing like that.

Don't play aggressive in sg, this kit is about countering, if someone fnses you they will 90% agro you and rush you and it will be simple to bow spam against. If they run away after fnsing you make sure you dark rust them, if you do you willed down only about 1.5 hearts after fnsing you which is very minor. If they bow spam you in the begginging try to rod them away to regain health or light them on fire or bow spam them while they are approaching you. And Ofc you will need to win your sword rod exchange (I was furst sg last season and also first this season so I'm not a rand when it comes to this kit xd )Posted on 07 March 2016 - 10:00 PM

I was 1900 in SG back in season 8, but I can't get above 1850 now even though the ladder is arguably more inflated…The people who drain me the most are people with insanely defensive playstyles - they rely on the rod exclusively for melee, and they flint and steel aggressively while constantly falling back and bowing. To me, that seems like a boring and soulcrushing way to play, but that's what the mid-elos are going for lately.
If you really want elo, play like that. If you'd rather enjoy and improve at the game, concentrate on hotkeying and spacing, and work on predicting your opponent's movements.
