I don't really think some genres are inherently better or worse than others, there's some good stuff in all of them and bad stuff in all of them. I will say that I usually enjoy more prog rock and math rock bands than bands of the other genres you've listed. and I'm not the biggest fan of melodic grindcore (although I enjoy a kind of similar genre to this, powerviolence) or electronic dance, although occasionally I'll come across a group in those genres that I like.
