Hello, some of us might play on 1.9 and some on 1.8/1.7 but the time has come you are gonna choose to play on which one. Why are people worried? 1.7 still works on pvp orientated server like badlion. I don't see 1.7 disappearing in the near future, maybe not even in some years.Nobody is forcing us to use 1.9, and yet people claim it to be the end of pvp.
Servers can also configurate the pvp to be how they want. I don't see why 1.9 pvp would be a problem by doing that. Hypixel made the pvp mechanics 1.8 for 1.9 players.

I kind of agree, but new players will use 1.9
