MCSG and Hypixel are both 1.7/1.8-1.9 compatible. MCSG being 1.7/1.8/1.9 and Hypixel being 1.8/1.9.
After some research i have noticed the following:

MCSG- (in 1.7)
Rod do not work well.
KB is worse than usual
Hit-Ditection is flawed
Extreme server lag spikes

Hypixel- (in 1.9)
KB is complete shit, often not even registering
Bows are delayed (not ping based)
Block Lag
Wierd Hit-Detection
Inventory glitches (when hotkeying items around)

If Badlion is going to have 1.7/1.8/1.9 compatibility, they are going to have to work around the fact that 1.9 doesnt mix well with previous version.

There is going to be two separate servers for 1.7/1.8 users and another for 1.9 users.

I don't think any major network has released a 1.9 server though. 1.9 protocol h4x cool n all, but you gotta get into the 3 CPS shield p v peas.
