Well guys 1.9 is upon us. Many of you have tried it out already. We said we were going to give it a go so we are. We are NOT removing 1.7 or 1.8 support. We are keeping them the way they are. We are looking to support 1.9 on our ArenaPvP servers at the start of season 12 hopefully.For those of you not familiar with what our plans have been for 1.9 the whole time read here https://www.badlion.net/forum/thread/66349
As far as a status update…here are the list of things that need to be done:

- Apply all of our custom patches to 1.9 Spigot
- Fix all of the bugs with our plugins that do not work because of 1.9 changes
- Reset ladders for season 12 and support two sets of ladders, 1.7/1.8 and 1.9
We expect the Season 12 reset to be March 11/12th at the moment. We will make another announcement post when we are closer to the reset and explain what is going on with season 12 and why there isn't a huge set of updates this time around.
Still got plenty of work to do before we are properly supporting 1.9. Good news is our Arena servers should be up and running fairly soon with the new content :) Looking forward to seeing what you guys think of it when you are thrown into a real competitive environment.

I feel like the 1.9 server will become useless after a little while, people will mess around with 1.9 and then realize that it destroyed pvp, but are you saying the there will be ranked ladders for 1.9 as well? That should be interesting o-oPosted on 01 March 2016 - 10:45 AM

UHC will probably come to 1.9 soon, there is a complication according to Spigot with the anti-xray system not working. We will have to judge what we want to do for that.
