It's just a texture. The item itself is what determines its functions, durability and damage, etc. Shorter sword textures are really just aesthetic and used by preference.Posted on 01 March 2016 - 03:08 PM

That's the point… Preference.
I'm sure some people do better with default than anything else, if it's astethically pleasing to you, you may find you function better with it.
