The Badlion tournament staff back at it again with (the white vans) another tournament.

Date and Time:

The tournament will be hosted on March 12th, 2016 at 3:00 PM BST / 10:00 AM EST.

Signups close at 11:59 PM BST / 6:59 PM EST on March 11th.

You may use this website to convert the time of the tournament to your timezone.

The time that the tournament will last can vary, and is dependent on how much staff we have available and how many contestants sign up. Make sure you can be available for a decent amount of hours (3-4 maximum usually).

Signing Up:

We will accept everyone who enters. Our only limit is the server's player limit.

To sign up for the tournament, please post the two usernames of the players in your team. There are no team names. Your teammate must reply to your post to confirm their participation. You may edit your reply to update your team, a username, or to state that you can no longer play; as long as it is done before sign ups close. Please don’t reply again, we will catch your edits if they are done in time.

Server:

We will be using the tournament server hosted in Europe

Overview:

The tournament will be Kohi kit and 2v2.

Bracket:

The format of the bracket is currently undecided and is dependent on how many teams sign up. Possibilities for the format include single or double elimination with possibly pools beforehand if we get many entrants. The set format will either be best of 3 throughout with best of 5 in the final matches otherwise it will likely be best of 1 in early matches, best of 3 later, and best of 5 at the end.

We will be seeding teams by their 2v2 Elo in Kohi (not their best Elo, but the Elo of the two actually playing together). If two teams tie in 2v2 Elo, we will decide the tie breaker using the average 1v1 Kohi Elo between both players. If that ends up tying, the average Elo of all potion PvP kits between both players, excluding the lowest Elo from both, will be used to decide that tie. Tie breakers only help with a few scenarios and usually don't go that deep.

The bracket will be posted here the night before the event (likely very late into the night for EU players).

Maps:

All maps may be played during the tournament. There is a possibility that we will allow players to restart for a new map as long as it is at the very start of the match and both players agree. It is more likely that we will do this later in the bracket, it is less likely to happen earlier on.

Rules:

All Badlion Network rules apply during tournament play.

The following offenses may warrant a ban from all Badlion Network servers without warning and will be harsher than those usually given out:

Usage of any unauthorized client modifications/hacked clients
Usage of any sort of external device that gives the player an unfair advantage over other players
Threatening, harassing, or bullying other players
Exploiting game-breaking plugin issues/abusing bugs
Failure to follow directions given by Tournament Staff
Any action that causes a disruption to the event
Any form of poor sportsmanship and/or disrespect, publicly or privately
Evading an IP ban

Players who break these rules may also be subject to a permanent black list, or disqualification from all future events.

If a teammate is caught cheating, their whole team will be disqualified.

In addition to actions mentioned above, the following may result in a disqualification from the event:

Failure to show up to event on time
Excessive camping – You will receive 1 (one) warning if you camp and failure to stop camping will result in a tournament disqualification, this is determined by the staff watching, use common sense
Lagging to an extent that is unplayable as decided by the tournament staff may result in removal from the tournament

Rematches will be granted at the discretion of Tournament Advisers or Admins in only certain situations. Do not ask for a rematch.

Prizes:

1st - 2 Permanent Lion ranks
2nd - 2 Permanent Donator+ ranks
3rd - 2 Permanent Donator ranks

Note: You may apply the prize to any account of your choice. You may also upgrade one tier of rank if you already have it ie: if you win Donator and you already have it, you may elect to get Donator+ instead.

Wow, this is a surprise, I was like to myself, wonder if badlion is doing a new tourney, checks section, new tournament posted 1 min ago, my luck in on point
