In my school at least playing minecraft is seen as a pathetic thing. I think it's considered like that, not only because people think it's a game just for kids of 7 years, but also because of the stupid Spanish community (I live in a Spanish speaking country). The community, although it is not as salty as the English one, is FULL of kids of like 9-12 years that obviously rage a lot and are pretty much noobs. I only know 1 person that plays it in my school but he also keeps it as a secret or at least he only tells to his close friends.Is this the same for you?

At my school they all think minecraft is only building, but when I showed them what I do in minecraft they quit enjoy it en some class mates also play it from time to time now 😂16 and from the Netherlands btw

Our school blocked Minecraft from being able to download, but one of wrestlers in my team found out a way to use it/ bypass it…We have been making a 7 story jail haha #IBT

In my school they mock minecraft and everyone thinks of it as a game only 8 year olds play.funny thing is one of the dudes that makes fun of it actually plays badlion and he doesn't have a clue I know x)

Back when I was in High School, it wasn't frowned upon at all. In fact, it was quite popular of a game and people openly played it all the time. I remember in like my computer class, we put up a server on one of the classrooms servers as a class project. It was really cool since nobody saw it as just a building game for kids. Everyone recognized it as much more than that. Some people played minigames, others played modpacks, others did pvp stuff. In general, it was a openly accepted game to play and is probably why I still play it today. I'm 18 and in college and people in my dorm STILL play minecraft.Posted on 03 March 2016 - 12:19 PM
