General rule is 1 finger – 1 click – 1 attack (or something like that).Now I barely remember by heart what Hivlik said then but approximately:
Many mice have a bug which after butterfly clicking sents some illegitimate packets and cause the mouse to do a doubleclick even doe it's just a single click.
@ H1vl1k to correct me because I'm pretty sure it's "not quite correct"
