I am against a blatant hacker with like 8reach and anti-knockback, he's not even trying to hide it. I go to report him but reported another player before that who I thought was hacking (He wasn't so obvious) I see I have to wait 5 fucking minutes? So I say 'mods tp' in chat to try and save myself losing elo. I get muted for hackusation. Yeah I should have used /report except I used it before and had to wait, maybe turn the time down before you can report again, it's bullshit having it at 5 minutes.Posted on 04 March 2016 - 11:03 AM
The reason is that players will spam it.Posted on 04 March 2016 - 11:19 AM
It used to be 30 seconds, but there are so, so fucking many false reports because players can't accept their defeat and think that whoever kills them, is hacking. Which in reality usually is not the case.Posted on 04 March 2016 - 01:59 PM

Literally just PM a few staff members. At least one of us is likely looking for hackers at any given time.Germany wrote

Not as easy as you think it is to do that, first you have to press tab and see what staff are online (sometimes none) remember their name and tab it, type out the msg, and then to find out after the match that they were afk the entire time.

If you're up against a hacker, there's a very low chance you aren't going to lose elo. Most mods never ban mid match - we can with nondonors, but most of us prefer not to risk our ranks like that. The main thing that can prevent you from loosing elo is GCheat. So basically, the main reason to message staff is to make sure the hacker doesn't kill anyone else, so you might as well do it after the match is over.
