**I SUGGEST READING THIS THREAD COMPLETELY BEFORE MAKING A COMMENT**

Here's why people rage over video games.

-Taking them too seriously
-Distractions
-Lag
-Stress

These are all accountable for the rage of a gamer. There may be more ways you would be able to rage, but I can't think of them.

Now, I dislike Badlion. Oh, it's gamemodes are fucking amazing; the developers are doing the best they can to deal with the lag; the staff are professional yet are mediocre in the handling of rage in players and communicating with players.

It's the community I don't like.

Everyday, I play some ArenaPvP. Now, I'm west coast and have the shittiest ISP EVER. My main internet shuts down 1/2 the time and my backup lags like crazy. And I still have 5500+ wins and 2800+ losses. Yet I've been losing more and more games due to this lag.



I can blame lag because it prevents me from enjoying the extent of your servers fully.

freek, you're a good admin. Albeit not very kind, but then again, people aren't expected to act like robots. But you need to connect with the community more. Yes they may agree with you, but only providing topics that everyone will agree with is pretty basic.

Responding to reports and appeals isn't the way to go either. Unless I'm mistaken, staff don't pm players personally. We actually need that connection in order to suggest improvements and personally inscribe a bond between staff and player.

Players need to handle their rage better. I completely agree. Hell, I need to control my rage. But it is one of the most stupid things to get lag-killed for something that isn't your fault. Yes, you can stop playing, but players like me keep going because we want to reach that goal. (in my case, 1700 elo).

My mutes over the past few days have all been a result of my anger combined with my inability to do anything due to my constant lag.

And people calling me ez.

And people calling other people ez.

And people being complete douchebags.

And people hacking.

You'll just say "Get the fuck off the internet, it's not for you." You're right. I do need to get off the internet.

I need to fix up my fucked up life. My dad is an asshole who only cares about how good my grades are. (3 A's, 3 B's and a C+). He says they're shit

My girlfriend might be cheating on me.

My irl friends fucking hate me.

No one will even talk to me because they think I'm some asshole who loves to cause other people pain and misery.

I understand your frustration. I can share the pain you go through with the struggles and obstacles you encounter in your life, virtual or real. What I don't get is if there is a deeper meaning than just sharing your story. You dipped a bit into lag, into how players have their own goals but cannot achieve them due to server lag. What I don't see is what's are you trying to propose? Are you trying to say that Badlion should fix the lag (that they are already working on)? Or that the general player base is really toxic and you typed this out to remedy that? Or that Badlion should provide (more) ways to help people provide feedback? Don't get me wrong, I appreciate you discussing your frustrations and struggles, I just can't seem to locate what you want Badlion to do specifically.

I guess I want Badlion to be less salty. It's impossible, I know. Ever since Huahwi's fanboys arrived, it's been shit player after shit player.

I dipped into my life because many people never see the side of a VERY toxic player.

I actually like the last statement. If most of the toxic players would just come forward and share the burdens, I believe Badlion with be less polluted.

Yeah, life sucks sometimes. You can basically ask any admin and they'll know what you mean lol. Many of us have been into incredibly bad times… Just know that it's temporary.



To my knowledge I am only not very kind to players who aren't very kind to me. For the rest I think I'm fine. Furthermore, if anything I am not active in my own admin tasks (I don't have many tbh, I admit). Most time I put into MC, is basically on these forums. You can check my post history.

Staff don't PM players usually because we don't need to. We reply to every PM sent to us though (at least Mastergberry and I)
