Confused about the new ranking system

Hello,On my alt Balditron I was 1994, I earnt about 0-1 rating and sometimes -1 rating from winning and then when I lost once boom I lost 34; https://www.badlion.net/match/kitpvp/240784
I thought that this system would be more balanced, but clearly you lose even more than the maximum rating lost before.
Will someone please explain how this is working to me?

Well when it says -1 i don't think it actually takes off -1 even though it says it does. That's as far as my knowledge stretches with this new system.Posted on 17 July 2014 - 04:45 PM

Better then losing 32 and only gaining 1 per match?
8 matches to get back vs 32?
