My biggest Build Issue
Ok. So as many of you may know, I have a pretty terrible computer. I get anywhere from 40-150 fps. I can pvp with that fine. However, I have 1 issue that kills me every time. Someone lavas me, and I look down and place water. However, when I look down, I get 0 fps. Every single time, I get stuck in lava and critted out. Is there anyway to fix this? I have everything on lowest setting.

Advanced Open GL –> Fast
Chunk Loading –> Smooth/MultiCore
Lava Animations –> Off
Water Animations –> Off

Try this. I get similar issues except in sg whenever I run into fns .-.

Make the lava a really low pixel quality or just default and advances open gl on fast
Or to improve your overall frames by 50+ just lower your screen resolution

Whats screen resolution, and how do you change it?

Go to run and type in adjust screen resolution I use 800x600 because I also have an ass PC and that is the lowest my monster can go and I have gained 70 fps from going from the highest to the lowest screen resolution ( your game will be a lot less detailed tho )

its in optifine settings in quality or something just look for it. You can also lower your actual monitor's resolution too

Turn off all animations, change your texture pack (I am really fond of the 16x Cotton PvP Pack [Yes I use 16x packs, my computer is horrible]) or change all settings to fast or hover over each setting and it should come up with the slow, slowest and the fastest option.

Use

Low res texture pack
low render distance
turn animations off [Optifine]
make sure nothing is open in the background… like for example censored
use "fast" trees

Click the apple logo thing in the top left. Go to system preferences then display. There should be a screen resolution option, lower it enough to speed up your game but keep it high enough for your screen to look somewhat decent.
