Ok, so many many very good pvpers put their rod in their last spot. I'm wondering if this somehow improves Pvp in some way. Is it true that it affects Pvp, or is it just some Danteh bandwagon? Sorry for such a stupid post but I want to know.Posted on 13 March 2016 - 12:51 AM

It doesn't make a difference what slot it is in if you hot key. I could put it in my 6th slot and just bind my Q to my 6th instead of my 3rd (where my rod would normally be). Pretty much for everything but my food and bow I hotkey so my inventory could be in any order, I'd just re-bind my keys to the appropriate item.But for scrolling like Mentally and Nestor yes its best to have it next to your sword so you can scroll to it fast as you dont want to have to go past 2 or 3 items to get to it as that'll just slow you down.

Really just depends on your hotkeys, some people have hotkeys on their mouse so they can switch to the 9th slot, some scroll, some set hotkeys on their keyboard, etc. Danteh has his 9th slot as either z, x, or c I'm pretty sure so he can swiftly switch to his rod and sword using like "1, c, 1, c" and so onLast edited on 13 March 2016 - 04:02 PM by Jordners
So it's basically whatever your comfortable with. And people also say that 1,3,1,3 is much easier to hotkey to than 1,2,1,2 which is what I use. True or not@Jwles

Bluedeww fns's 9 via scrollxCarson uses side buttons for every single slot
Scope's rod is 9, which is his 1 key. His 1 slot is a side button on his mouse.
Danteh's 9 slot rod is accessed with c
