For the patch of an entire server devoted to events, I have an idea that could add to it.

To practice for the events, there could be specific ladders (similar to ArenaPVP) that focuses ONLY on the specific events that are going on.

EX: Someone starts an UHC LMS
Someone tarts a UHC Meetup
Someone starts a Combo War

Those ladders (UHC, Build UHC, and Combo) switch into the current ladders and you have the opportunity to play them while you're waiting for the event to start.

They wouldn't count toward your elo, and I think it would be a decent idea to consider.
