Hi. I am Nicosby and I love bow fights, in particular I love long-range fight, that's why I mostly play Archer besides Build and UHC kit. Although I'd consider myself pretty decent at it, and can actually beat people with higher elo than me sometimes, I just cannot play on map with too many obstacles. Now, I understand we all like that "more realistic" fights feeling, and I know it is my fault if I suck on certain maps, but seriously, some people just go ahead and hide, keep running, camp or jumpshot.
I don't think the real purpose of Archer is to hide and get cheap shots, I'm sure you should play it to try new strafes, new tactics, or just to easily pratice your bow skills without being sword rushed. A flat map would help a lot, it'd make the strafe-practicing more efficient, fights wouldn't last centuries, people would actually learn how to long range and it would be more fun in general.
There's a really good map which I think is the best for Archer. The one with green clay as the ground and autumn-like trees, still made of brown and orange clay. That map is perfect, there's an open, flat field and no obstacles except for those 4 or so trees near your spawn points.
However, there are a lot of "meh" maps and awful maps. The one with japanese trees and structures is somewhat okay, but people still use enderpearls to hide on top of those buildings, or hide behind the trees and jumpshot. Also, there's that snow map I really hate, the one with the bridge in the middle. That is just way too cluttered to have a decent fight (imo ofc).

There's nothing wrong with the looks of the maps, I actually like them when I'm playing kit UHC or AdvUHC, I just don't think those maps are "the best" for Archer kit.
